My Top Ten Summer Closet Staples

It's getting really warm here and I've been breaking out my summer clothes. You've probably seen some of these from previous posts but I thought I'd share my top ten summer staples.
First, there's this adorable coral shirt. I got this at our Goodwill and it's one of those shirts where if you don't know what to wear just throw it on and you feel ready for the day! 

And I love the back!
I like to pair it with a basic jean skirt and some ankle boots.

Next, we have these super cute sandals I got at Walmart. They're really basic but go with almost all my clothes! 

When I first found this pencil skirt in Goodwill I wasn't really sure if I liked it, but once I got home and wore it to church all doubt left my mind! I love to pair it with a button-up tucked in and wedges.

A scrunchy... a little weird to put in this list but I really like scrunchies! They're so versatile and great for any summer outfit! I love to wear it in a top knot or in a cute half updo. 

This picture doesn't give this shirt justice! I got this one at Walmart to wear to the conference and I LOVE it! It so cute and I really like wearing it with the pencil skirt I showed earlier.

When I showed this skirt on my summer outfits post I said I felt like I was going to the beach and I still feel that way every time I put it on! I got it at Goodwill several years ago and I've loved it ever since! I love to pair it with a tee shirt that's tied.

Next, we have these super adorable wedges I got at Goodwill. I've had these for a couple years and they've been my favorite shoe for the summer. Sadly, this conference they started falling apart. =( The way I would wear it would be with basically every skirt I own!

And then, there's this coral shirt, aka the cutest shirt ever! Okay, this picture doesn't show it very well, but this shirt is super cute! I got it from Goodwill this year and I just love it! I can wear it with a jean skirt or I'll wear it with the sky blue skirt I showed earlier. I also love that I can tie it. (that's why you get a size bigger!) 
And we have my one of my favorite summer skirts. And of course, I got it at Goodwill. I'll wear this one with button ups or just a plain tee.



And lastly, my blue polka dot button up from the one and only, Goodwill. I really like this shirt because it can be easily dressed up with a pencil skirt or it works really well for every day as well. And this is one of those shirts where it transitions to winter very well!

Hey guys!  So, recently I've been trying to work out more. So here are some tips that might help you too! 1. Find a workout you like. 30-Day Writing Challenge Day 9: What You Ate That Day

 I know I skipped a day, day 8 will be coming out soon I'm not as good at writing stories is all. =D Today is Sunday. I don't normally eat in the morning so I didn't think about food when we went shopping. As we were shopping Hannah mentioned that she hadn't eaten that day. Looking at the clock I realized that it was 2:30. I was very surprised that I didn't feel hungry. We shopped for another hour or so and then went home and ate zesty bean burritos for lunch\dinner.  The rest of the day we just chilled. Daddy and Momma went shopping again and so we watched the Flash and I had a bowl of frozen corn and a chocolate shake.  In the evening we really didn't have a dinner plan. It was more free for all. I think I had a blue barry donut and a few cups of Snapple.

My Shoe Collection

Honestly, I don't really like wearing shoes especially in the summer but I thought it would be fun to show you my shoes. BTW these are all my shoes except for my snow boots and outside flip flops. First, these flats from Fred Meyer. I got these years ago and they're great for summer! Then, there are my red flip flops I got at Goodwill.  I think every one needs a pair of tennis shoes, I got these from my Aunt and I don't know where she got them. Even though I don't wear gray that much I really like these for when I'm working out or just when I'm wearing a sporty outfit. And the summer essential, sandals. I really like these ones from Walmart. They're simple but very cute and great for basically every summer outfit. The rule for me is I need three pairs of boots for the winter. A lighter one, basic brown, and a darker one like black. And these that I got at Fred Meyer land in the basic brown. And everyone also needs a nice pair of ...
