Pop of Color

Every time we have children over they beg me to do a craft. Over the years I've picked my favorites and today I'm gonna show you how to do them! First, we're going to make an ocean  scene on a plate.  You're going to need a plate, blue paint, a fish coloring page (make sure it's fit on the plate with room for embellishments) and some things to decorate it like tissue paper, beans, blue or clear beads.  Start by painting the plate blue.  Then color and cut out your fish and glue it down. Then I added tissue paper for seaweed, clear beads for air bubbles, and beans for rocks. This is cute and simple! And your kidos can change it up how they like.  For a while now I've been playing around with nail polish. It's super cute and I love to wear it especially when I'm wearing a boring outfit.  But sometimes it can be a pain to paint your nails, so here are some tips that have helped me and hopefully help you! 1. Choosing the nail polish . I really don't have a favorite brand I just go by the thickness, color and then, of course, the price. For clear or clear with sparkles, it really doesn't matter. If you wanted it to stay longer go for a more expensive brand, but I get mine from the dollar tree and it last about a week, so that's great! For color, I would say if it's a darker color such as black, blue, and even red can be thicker. For lighter colors, try to go a little thinner. 2. Use a top and bottom coat . Using a bottom coat will protect your nails if your using color. If you paint your nails a lot you might notice your nails having a gross yellow or greenish tint. That's just what happens...

Hello everyone! Today I'm coming at you with a DIY.  I love this Flash shirt it's pretty easy and takes zero talent! You're going to start with a plain tee shirt. Since I'm doing The Flash I'm using this red one I got from Walmart. =) Then print off your logo (or picture) and cut it out. Then trace it on the shirt. I have used different things to trace with and the best would be a washable marker. It comes off as soon as you wash it and you won't have ugly lines! BTW you only see the outer edge here, later I cute out the lightning bolt and traced that as well. And you don't have to do a logo. You could do words or even a scene. Just make sure it's not to complex. Then paint in the logo. And let it dry. I did three coats and it was perfect but you might want to do more if you had a darker shirt and lighter colors.  And that's it! It's SO adorable and great to update any of those "okay" tees!
