DIY Coasters

Image
The DIYs are coming back and today it's gonna be DIY coasters. I have been making these for a long time and I thought it was time I showed you how to make them. For this first one, you're gonna start by taking an old CD or DVD and blobing the paint on. This gives it texture and it's way faster because you don't have to do as many coats. And that's it!  You could also do this with multiple colors. For the next one, start by putting ant decorative tape on and if there's a pattern on it make sure to line it up. Once you've covered the whole thing trim the sides and that's all! I LOVE this one! If you found a tape that really matched your room it would look adorable. Start by drawing a pattern on your coaster or you could print a picture and outline that onto your coaster.  And then paint it. This is the same technique I did of the Justice League sign and I love it for coasters. Hope you enjoyed! =) Bye!

5 Ways to Wear a Tee Shirt

Image
Today I'm going to show you five ways to wear a basic Walmart tee.  Starting on a summer note, there's this super cute beachy outfit. I started with this coral cami under a basic blue tee. Paired with this flowy skirt. I just love this! If I was going out I would wear it with sandals but at home in the summer I never wear shoes! And I'm wearing a half-up braided bun for all these outfits. And now for something a little more formal. Start with your tee and tuck it into a pencil skirt. Then just add accessories. I went with these open-toed wedges and a scarf. This next one's kinda sloppy for me but still put together. Your gonna start with your tee and add an oversized button-up on top. And finish this one with a basic jean skirt and converse. This one's a little sloppy but so cute and great for just one of those casual chill days while still being put together. We were at Goodwill and Momma pulled out this blazer. At first, I didn't...

My Shoe Collection

Honestly, I don't really like wearing shoes especially in the summer but I thought it would be fun to show you my shoes. BTW these are all my shoes except for my snow boots and outside flip flops. First, these flats from Fred Meyer. I got these years ago and they're great for summer! Then, there are my red flip flops I got at Goodwill.  I think every one needs a pair of tennis shoes, I got these from my Aunt and I don't know where she got them. Even though I don't wear gray that much I really like these for when I'm working out or just when I'm wearing a sporty outfit. And the summer essential, sandals. I really like these ones from Walmart. They're simple but very cute and great for basically every summer outfit. The rule for me is I need three pairs of boots for the winter. A lighter one, basic brown, and a darker one like black. And these that I got at Fred Meyer land in the basic brown. And everyone also needs a nice pair of ...

My Top Ten Summer Closet Staples

Image
It's getting really warm here and I've been breaking out my summer clothes. You've probably seen some of these from previous posts but I thought I'd share my top ten summer staples. First, there's this adorable coral shirt. I got this at our Goodwill and it's one of those shirts where if you don't know what to wear just throw it on and you feel ready for the day!  And I love the back! I like to pair it with a basic jean skirt and some ankle boots. Next, we have these super cute sandals I got at Walmart. They're really basic but go with almost all my clothes!  When I first found this pencil skirt in Goodwill I wasn't really sure if I liked it, but once I got home and wore it to church all doubt left my mind! I love to pair it with a button-up tucked in and wedges. A scrunchy... a little weird to put in this list but I really like scrunchies! They're so versatile and great for any summer outfit! I love to wear it in a top k...

4 Super Cute Summer Hairstyles

Summer is almost here and I couldn't be more excited! I love pulling out some fun braids or just something a little different! For the first one, start by taking a small piece from your hairline and french braid that back. Once you've braided the whole top of your hair put it into a pony looping it at the end. Then with the rest or your hair, put it into a pony and loop it. This one's a little different but so easy and great for any summer activity! For the next one, you'll start by splitting your hair in half and clipping one half out of the way. Now I couldn't get a picture of this but you're going to flip your head over and dutch braid the hair from your neck to wherever you want to bun and put it into a pony. BTW when you pick up hair in your braid take really small sections and that way it will look good and won't fall out as easily. The take the pony and braid it. And then wrap into a bun. And do the same thing on the othe...
