Pop of Color

Every time we have children over they beg me to do a craft. Over the years I've picked my favorites and today I'm gonna show you how to do them! First, we're going to make an ocean  scene on a plate.  You're going to need a plate, blue paint, a fish coloring page (make sure it's fit on the plate with room for embellishments) and some things to decorate it like tissue paper, beans, blue or clear beads.  Start by painting the plate blue.  Then color and cut out your fish and glue it down. Then I added tissue paper for seaweed, clear beads for air bubbles, and beans for rocks. This is cute and simple! And your kidos can change it up how they like. Hey! I'm finished with week three (it still doesn't even feel like September!) so here are all my outfits! BTW I had a lot of lighting problems this week so some of the pics aren't the best, sorry. Day 15: Striped I did a pretty simple outfit, with this navy and white striped sweater and my jean skirt For my hair, I did a french braid that went into a half-up messy bun. (Sorry the lighting the terrible!) Day 16: Sunday Best I started with this coral button-up tucked into a pencil skirt. Then I added a tan blazer and... My taupe ankle boots. And for my hair, I did a side dutch lace braid into a pony (it sounds more confusing than it really is =P) Day 17: Have Fun With Your Hair Okay before I talk about the outfit let's do some voting, yes voting. The lighting in my room is really bad especially in the morning, which is when I take the pictures, so, I took them in the hallway and the bathroom. The bathroom pic has better lighting

 Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, and those who follow my blog, I have a very special announcement! I am now making hair videos! I said I would a few months ago and I finally got over my camera shyness!   There still is a lot I have to learn but I was very surprised at how well it went! Of course, it's not perfect, there's no sound because I didn't want to talk to the camera and I couldn't get the music to record, and sometimes you can't see what I'm doing, but all in all, I'm just SO excited to film more!  So hopefully you enjoy!

Day 8: Dressed by someone else. My brother, Matthew, pick out this outfit, could you tell? (he loves Superman!) It's a pretty basic outfit: I have my superman shirt with the front tucked into my jean skirt. For my hair, I did half-up space buns.  Day 9: Very Feminine I started with this cute floral shirt and wore a jean skirt. And I'm wearing these open-toed wedges. For this hairstyle, I started by taking a section from each side of my part and fishtail braided that all the way down. Then I brought them to the back, secured them with an elastic and with the tail and a little more hair I made another fishtail. This is like my new favorite hairstyle! And it's very pretty and feminine. Day 10: Bag or purse I started with a blue striped shirt and a jean skirt. Then I added my adorable backpack.
