My Favorite Essential Oils

Image
Since I can remember our family has used essential oils and as I’ve gotten older I’ve tried different ones. Essential oils are really essential so that’s what we’re talking about! I’m gonna show you some of my favorite essential oils and what I use them for! Ancient Chinese  Remedy This is my all-time favorite oil. The first time I used it I had a bad headache that normally wouldn’t go away. Well, I put a drop on my finger and rubbed it on my head and only five minutes later my headache was completely gone! I was shocked! I’ve used it for any kind of pain, including stomach aches, back pain, anything else! Tea Tree Okay, this oil is one of those oils where you need it right now! It’s AMAZING! I use it for any cut or scratch and my favorite way to use it is for acne. And I did notice a big difference when using it! It’s antibacterial so great for killing mold or using it as a cleaner. Plague Defense The funny thing about this oil is, whenever I smell it I think o

Minimalist Closet Tips

Image
Hello everyone! I love keeping a small closet where I wear everything in it and can still be creative. It is super easy and so freeing! 1.Purge Your Closet I know everyone and cousin Mitch says this, but it’s the first and most important part of this whole thing. First, ask yourself if it brings you joy. If it doesn't give it away, and don’t hold on to things that could or did bring you joy. Everyone has those things and those are the ones that fill your closet. Now if you’ve done that but you just seem to not be wearing all your clothes try turning all your hangers backward and whenever you wear something to turn it the right way. This is great to show you what you actually like and wear. Now if you're still not ready to part with those items put them in a box or something and leave them there for 1-3 months. Most likely you won’t go to the box and get out that old sweater or those flats. Also, make sure that you're not holding onto things just because you

One Year of Posting!

Hey girls!  Today is a very fun day for me! It is the one-year anniversary of this blog! I can't believe it's been a whole year! I know I haven’t really posted faithfully but I’m really hoping that I’ll really get on top of the blogging game! I’m hoping to give more minimalist tips as well as writing tips since I’ve been doing those things a lot. Also scheduling is something I LOVE doing! I do it every week as well as every day and it would be so much fun to write more about that. I’m hoping especially as I get older and get more responsibilities that I will be able to share budgeting tips and stuff like that. I know I’m only fourteen but I love finding the best things that work for our family and sharing them. I also hope to share even more fashion tips. Maybe I’ll start making videos for hairstyles just so you can see what I’m doing. Last winter I cut my hair too shoulder length and I’m still waiting for it to get to braiding length. It’s almost there and it will be s

Short Hairstyles

Image
Hey girls! Today we're going over some short hairstyles for those of you who have shorter hair. All these can be done on longer hair so please try them! My sister Hannah is modeling for me so let's dive in, shall we? The first one's really simple, all you need to do is make a waterfall braid across your head. For a waterfall braid, all you do is start by braiding a couple times normally and then pick up a section from the top braid that in then braid the bottom normally. Then you're going to drop the section on the bottom and pick up a new section right next to that. And just keep doing that across your head. When you get to the end braid normally and secure with an elastic. This is one of my sister's favorite hairstyles and it looks great on short hair! For the next one, start by taking a small section of hair from your crown and dutch braid it. Once you've got the top of your head braided secure it with an elastic and pull it apart for a littl

10 Summer Sunday Outfits

Image
Today we're going through 10 summer Sunday outfits! I didn't even know I had that many Sunday outfits! =P  For this outfit, I started with this pretty floral shirt from Walmart and put and Walmart tank underneath it to make it a little more modest. =) Then I grabbed my dark jean skirt. And wore these super cute open-toed wedges! And for all these outfits I am wearing a half-up top knot. This one's a little bold but great for summer! I got this really pretty blue dress from Eshakti and tied this coral button-up from Goodwill around my waist. The shoes are the same as the last outfit. Next, I paired this adorable button-up from Goodwill with this fun summery white skirt from Goodwill. And these super cute wedges from Goodwill. Wow, I have a complete Goodwill outfit! I started with this blue polka-dot button-up and added this fun floral skirt both from Goodwill. Then grabbed these cute wedges from Amazon. And the necklace is from Wa

My Favorite Things

Hey guys! Today I thought it would be fun to show some of my favorite things. These are just random stuff I grabbed in my room.  I love doing my nails and I love the color coral so this is perfect! I got this at Walmart for about $2 and it works great. An alarm clock was probably not something you would think would be on this list, but I actually really love getting up early and this alarm clock is a huge help! Pluss, it's adorable! Of course, my Bible would be on this list! I love reading it and just spending time with God! I got this when I was like 9 and have loved it ever since! And my journal. I stopped journaling a while ago but then decided to do it again and I've been loving it! I love writing goals, dreams, what I did that day, and Bible verses! I think everyone should at least try journaling! And my trusty nave military jacket. I got this from my sister Hannah a couple Christmases ago and (like everything else in this list) I LOVE it! I wear
